First, get on 105

From downtown Brenham, take TX Hwy. 105 (Academy) northeast (toward Navasota).

Or, if you're coming from 290, take 577 (S. Horton St.) to 105, and then turn right on 105.

If this is confusing, here's a map of Brenham.

Once you're on 105...

Go about 1.8 miles on 105, then turn left (north) onto FM 50.

Go 3.5 miles on 50, then make a right onto FM 2621 to Sandy Hill.

Go 3.5 miles on 2621, then just before the white church, turn right onto Palestine Road.

Go one-half mile on Palestine to Heartland's entrance on the right.

 

From Houston (1.5 hours)

  • Hwy 290 West to Brenham.
  • Right (north) at FM 577
  • 3.5 miles to FM 105, turn right (east)
  • 1.8 miles to FM 50, turn left (north)
  • 3.5 miles to FM 2621, turn right (north)
  • 3.5 miles to Palestine Road, turn right (east)
  • 1/2 mile to Heartland's entrance, on the right

From Houston (The Woodlands/ Spring/Conroe Area) (1.5 hours)

  • Hwy 45 North to Conroe
  • Take the FM 105 exit (west/left) to Navasota
  • Outside Brenham about 1.5 miles to FM 50, turn right (north)
  • 3.5 miles to FM 2621, turn right (north)
  • 3.5 miles to Palestine Road, turn right (east)
  • 1/2 mile to Heartland's entrance, on the right.

From Dallas (3.5 hours)

  • IH 45 South to Madisonville.
  • South on FM 90 to Navasota.
  • South on FM105 to FM 390 outside Brenham.
  • Right (north) on FM 390.
  • 3.5 miles to Palestine Road, turn left
  • 3.5 miles to Heartland's entrance, on the left. (Before you reach FM 2621).

From Austin (2 hours)

  • Hwy 290 East to Brenham.
  • Loop around Brenham on Hwy 290 as if going to Houston.
  • Left (north) at FM 577
  • 3.5 miles to FM 105, turn right (east)
  • 1.8 miles to FM 50, turn left (north)
  • 3.5 miles to FM 2621, turn right (north)
  • 3.5 miles to Palestine Road, turn right (east)
  • 1/2 mile to Heartland's entrance, on the right

From San Antonio (2.5 hours)

A more direct route but harder to follow, especially at night:

  • IH 10 to Schulenburg.
  • North on Hwy 77 to LaGrange.
  • Proceed on FM 159/237 to Hwy 290.

More well traveled highway route and easier at night:

  • IH 10 to Sealy
  • North on Hwy 36 through Bellville to Brenham.

From 290:
  • East on Hwy 290 outside Brenham as if going to Houston
  • Left (north) on FM 577 right past Brenham.
  • 3.5 miles to FM 105, turn right (east)
  • 1.8 miles to FM 50, turn left (north)
  • 3.5 miles to FM 2621, turn right (north)
  • 3.5 miles to Palestine Road, turn right (east)
  • 1/2 mile to Heartland's entrance, on the right.

From College Station (1/2 hour)

  • FM 60 to left on FM 50 to Independence.
  • Left on FM 390
  • Right on FM 2621
  • Left on Palestine Road
  • 1/2 mile on Palestine Road to Heartland's entrance, on the right
